The Ohio Miami Valley Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience is a nonprofit membership organization that promotes neuroscience research and education in the southwest Ohio region. The chapter’s sponsoring institutions include Miami University, the University of Cin
cinnati, and Wright State University. The chapter’s elected offices rotate annually among representatives of these institutions. Membership is open to all persons in southwest Ohio who are interested in neuroscience research. Membership in the Society for Neuroscience is not a requirement for membership in the OMV Chapter.

Leslie Tolbert, Ph.D. (left), of the University of Arizona will be the keynote speaker at OMV-SfN’s 2012 Neuroscience Day on Friday, May 18, at Miami University in Oxford. Dr. Tolbert is Regents Professor and Professor of Neuroscience and Cell Biology & Anatomy at Arizona, where she also is vice president for research, graduate studies, and economic development. Registration for Neuroscience Day is free for 2012 OMV-SfN members. Please register by Friday May 11 so we can plan accordingly for the attendance. If you are not an OMV-SfN member for 2012, please join now!
Membership Dues: OMV-SfN’s 2012 online membership form is now ready for action. Please renew your membership, or join us if you are new to the chapter. You do not have to be a member of SfN to join the chapter and participate in its activities. Our 2012 Neuroscience Day will be free to all OMV-SfN members.
